Career development and workshops for further qualification are important to help doctoral researchers prepare for their future careers. Universität Hamburg supports its doctoral researchers with a great variety of free, high-quality courses during their doctoral studies.

Doctoral researchers at Universität Hamburg can attend courses offered by MIN Graduate School, HR Development, PIER Graduate School, Hamburg Research Academy, Career Center, and PIASTA. The Hamburg Center for University Teaching and Learning (HUL; in German) offers various courses and workshops to improve your teaching abilities in university contexts.

Extra qualifications can be a decisive factor for starting a successful career after your doctorate. As a doctoral researcher at the MIN faculty you can choose from a wide range of different courses, workshops and events, among which are:
