Information sheets and guidelines
As of October 1st, 2019, new doctoral regulations of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences of the Universität Hamburg came into effect (abbreviated: Doctoral Degree Regulations MIN Faculty (2018)). All doctoral researchers applying for admission to doctoral procedures in the MIN Faculty as from October 1st, 2019 will carry out their doctoral studies according to the Doctoral Degree Regulations MIN Faculty (2018), as amended (see doctoral degree regulations and amendments above). Doctoral researchers admitted to doctoral procedures before before October 1, 2019 can continue their doctoral procedures according to the rules of the Doctoral Degree Regulations MIN Faculty (2018) as amended upon joint request by the doctoral candidate and her/his supervisors (see form below). This applies for all doctoral procedures which are conducted according to the Doctoral Degree Regulations MIN Faculty (2010) as amended or the departmental doctoral degree regulations.

- Publication of the dissertation: A 'docket for the publication of the dissertation' will be provided by the responsible Academic Office or Doctoral Office. This docket contains the necessary information for the publication of the dissertation and the related fulfillment of the publication obligation.
